For new POS systems

Excellent and easy installation. Note that this is USB only and will not work with POS software that only looks for COM ports. You need an additional adapter for this.

Finding drivers is a nightmare

You need an MD player. It's 2019 and there are no drivers on the network - you need a minidisk player. Absurd. But you won't find anything else at this price point with decent print quality. take it or leave it

Works with Linux since kernel 5.11

The Linux 5.11 kernel contains a patch that allows this printer to work immediately after installation. It is available at /dev/usb/lp0. I needed a simple text line printer that also works on Linux. This printer fully meets all requirements.

Thermal Laser Label Printer

I returned this product because there was nothing that said what size paper to buy for this product so I had to guess after being wrong twice I gave up and returned the product. I also had to search the internet for drivers as my laptop doesn't have a floppy drive.

For the price it was perfect

This is a slightly different review of this printer than what it is intended for, but an overview nonetheless. I needed a printer that could print a six-foot+ route sheet for a dual sport rally raid. I didn't want to rob a bank as it wasn't a work trip or an event like the Dakar, but I wanted a good backup of the old paper instructions just in case. My box was well packed with the mini disc intact. I had to put a CD in my old desktop to copy the contents and drivers to a flash drive so I could…
