Good air intake for about $70 all bolted and aligned as it should. My 2004 Buick Leasbre was slowly starting to eat antifreeze with no visible leaks. I also replaced the lower inlet seals (felpro) and decided to use the felpro upper inlet seals at the same time. The gaskets that came with the air intake looked fine and I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem (kept the gaskets if I ever need to do it again) but used Felpro for peace of mind. Nice touch with metal bushing and smaller EGR tube. As someone said the injector o-rings are where all the top o-rings are where the injector enters the fuel rail. I only had to replace the lower ones which go into the manifold and luckily are included in my Felpro lower intake gasket kit. I got the Dorman aluminum coolant manifold and just replaced the one that goes into the bottom intake and didn't have to remove the alternator/countershaft pulley where the other plastic manifold is. Also, the elbow I removed was still in very good condition and not fragile, so I figured the smaller elbow was in the same condition and didn't need to be replaced at this point. I don't know what a reviewer did to break the inlet because I put it on to spec and it was fine. My problem was that the lower brake pads in the two cooling ducts closest to the alternator were starting to fail on my 2004 Buick Lesabre for only $30,000. There was some oil in the bottom intake and when I removed the top intake there was a good film of oil all over it. As most people recommend, if you are making a top air intake, do the bottom air intake washers as well. I was able to run my alternator and still have easy access to all of the bottom inlet screws. The lower entry is very easy, especially since you already have everything you need for the upper entry. The hardest bolt was the throttle body bracket. I couldn't reach the small 8mm screw that attaches to the lower air intake to twist it out of the way, so I saw that another installer had just bent it after removing the screw from the throttle body, which worked fine (could just leave the throttle body dampers attached to the air intake need to be removed but I had the throttle cables attached and flipped them to the side). All in all, this is a good introduction and an easy task for anyone who has turned a wrench before. There are countless videos showing you how to do this, and you can't go wrong with this trick!
