A layer of bubble wrap that does not cover the entire mirror. A corner of the mirror was sticking out of the box. Luckily it wasn't broken. The mirror is not the same size and angle as the factory mirror. The factory was flat, but Dorman's is a bit sloping down. The pins in the wire harness are in the wrong position because the up/down switch moves the mirror left/right and the left/right switch moves the mirror up/down. The final issue is the quality of the actual mirror image. The picture is distorted and blurry. I cannot recommend this mirror.
