Absolutely normal.
Overall it seems to be well made. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because for some reason there was only one patch in the individual box and the pair has minor abrasions (possibly from rubbing together during shipping). And of course this is one of the ones I like the most. This is of course just a blemish, but these are purely cosmetic things. So I have to make compromises for that.
