Purchased to replace a 3 pin socket. I thought it would be better to upgrade all of our lightbulbs as we use LIFX smart lightbulbs. LIFX lights require you to turn the light on and off 5 times to sync it up. If you get out of step and have to go through the procedure, it will be a three-way pain. It can still be done three ways, but I had trouble with the Resy Fing.
