The molding on our 2005 Toyota Matrix started to come loose, we asked the dealer a few years ago if they could help and they were willing all replacing the lower and rear trim panels of our car totaling between $600-$850. We asked if we could just fix the broken clips, they gave us about $100 total. So we just used some of the ribbon they sell since it only cost us $25. The only problem is that it went on like this for a while until we had to repeat it over and over again. We finally came across these clips thanks to a Revain search. We couldn't believe after all our troubles that this could work so perfectly and be so easy to put on. They fit better than the originals, appear to be more durable and all of our trim pieces snap in like new. We are very disappointed with all the help we have not received from local shops and especially the car dealer. We've made several trips since wearing them and the trim hasn't come off at all. Because we've had so many of them and they seem to be holding up so well. We actually decided to replace some of the other parts of the clip with spare parts. Those parts of the car (starting with the rear bumper and some interiors seem safer now too). 2005 Matrix & cheap to buy in bulk Cons: Color could be more neutral & if you need to take them off they hold up Overall we love these clips They really wanted us to make them and saved us a ton of money on unnecessary repairs.
