Door Panel Retaining Clips Identical to OEM

These clips were purchased as part of a 2003 Toyota Tacoma rebuild/refurbishment. The old clips became brittle and broke, so I bought these as replacements. They fit exactly like the originals and fix the door leaf securely. If you need to fix a Tacoma, they'll get the job done. I recommend

Pros
  • Easy to Install
Cons
  • Expensive

Didn't like it, difficult to remove

Installed these on the door panel of my 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser. They are normal size and the installation was good. The problem appeared when I removed the door panel. 1/2 is removed as usual. The door card was 1/2 torn out. It's like a 30 year old door card but I used a pry bar made for these mounts and they just cracked. I ended up having to drill out 1/2 of them because they refused to let go. I will not install anymore.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Can't remember

They fit but are brittle and break easily unlike the factory clips

I needed to replace the door latch on my Toyota Tundra which required removing the door panel. I got them because I was sure I would break a few of them since they were 12 years old. They had to replace everyone who broke in the process. My door lock repair didn't go as planned and I had to remove the door panel a second time. All of those clips that I installed to replace broken factory clips broke when I tried to remove the door panel a second time. Good thing they came in packs of 25. Their…

It's worth it if your interior panels fall off

The door panel fell off every time my kids closed the door on my 2006 Sienna. They don't have much finesse when closing. These clips 100% fixed it. They fit into slots on the back of the panel. Once you line them up with the holes in the door metal, hitting them hard with a clenched fist or a small rubber mallet will snap them into place perfectly. If you ever remove the panel I suggest using it rather than trying to reuse existing ones. Used staples don't bite. You know I paid 2 garages a…

Weak brackets. It's easy to break. Buy OEM.

Bought these clips to replace the original clips on the door panel of my Toyota Tacoma. waste of money! I replaced the panel clips with these. I tried to grab her and immediately two clips broke! So I tried removing the door to replace the broken clips. When removing the door panel EVERYTHING broke! The spikes got stuck in the door and I had to use a drill to get them out. These clips are weak and break easily during insertion and removal. I have reused the OEMs I took out and they have held up

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

So far they work but the plastic is very brittle

The trim clips are the same size as the OEM Toyota clips but the plastic is very, very brittle and breaks easily. I missed a few holes when attaching it and at one point I had to move the bezel backwards to adjust it. When I tried to remove the panel the clips broke and the clip removal arm splintered leaving a plug in the hole which I had to pry out with a screwdriver for about 30 minutes. I was able to line up the clips and install the panel. The panel is solid enough but I hope I never have…

Perfect fit for 2012 Sienna

These clips are perfect for the interior trim of my 2012 Toyota Sienna. While the OEM clips are made of extremely durable plastic, their design makes it almost impossible to remove the fairing unless you can somehow gain enough access to reach into the clips and their two protruding "ears". to press. Since I couldn't figure out how to do this, my method of removing the fairing using a normal fairing removal tool damaged the tops of the OEM clips. These clips don't have the same protruding tabs…

Broken Over Time: Clips

I had to go through my Revain history to see when I bought it. 2014 - more than 4 years ago. Four years in the garage they were in a plastic bag. Lately I've been doing door repairs on my Camry and removing the door panel. Camry 11 years old. A clip was missing so I grabbed one from my stash. On the next pull (about a week later) it broke, just like one of the ones that had stood a few years ago. Today I pulled the plate again and these two broke. OEMs from 11 years ago are fine. Those are the…

Very strong, better than the original clips

The molding on our 2005 Toyota Matrix started to come loose, we asked the dealer a few years ago if they could help and they were willing all replacing the lower and rear trim panels of our car totaling between $600-$850. We asked if we could just fix the broken clips, they gave us about $100 total. So we just used some of the ribbon they sell since it only cost us $25. The only problem is that it went on like this for a while until we had to repeat it over and over again. We finally came…
