4 launches so far. Maybe 5 later.

I usually don't see an item until a certain amount of time has passed or it's full of junk. But in this case, I'm considering this particular DVD player because everyone expects a $30 DVD player to work like a $400 device. Also, I'm sick of people whining about how small the remote control is. After that has been said. I connected this multi-region DVD player to my 70 inch Samsung NU6900 4K UHD TV. Image quality is ok. grainy, but it can also be DVDs. Keep in mind that the 20 year old DVD was not shot in 4K UHD. Old movies look like old movies unless you have an updated copy. But even so, it still won't look like the movie that was shot yesterday. Also check your HDMI cables. Make sure you have high-quality, high-speed cables. The cable that the machine comes with looks surprisingly well made and of good quality. Gold or platinum plated tips are the best, but they are expensive (especially platinum). Many people are too quick to blame the DVD player for not working right away. While this may be true, double-check your cables. You also have to take into account that your TV may not accept it. There are many articles on the Internet about TV formats, frequencies, frequencies and more. Sony TVs accept almost everything while Samsung is particularly picky. I'm surprised it actually works on my TV. Now for "Tiny Little Remote". As you can see from the photos, there are even smaller remote controls from "real brands". So if you don't plan on wearing mittens or mitts when using the remote, the size is fine. The buttons are a bit stiff, but can be pressed. Also, use good quality batteries and point the remote control at the DVD player. Not your TV. The DVD player sensor is in the DVD player, not in your TV. The player still works great. I will update this review in a few months if it holds (or sooner, if she fails and dies). - picture quality is ok - remote control works fine - this is a $30 player, if you want to whine about it spend a few hundred bucks on Sony. clicking again is not possible. Also, use good quality batteries and point the remote control at the DVD player. Not your TV. The DVD player sensor is in the DVD player, not in your TV. Other than that, the player still works great. I'll update this review in a few months if it lasts (or sooner if it fails and dies). - Picture quality is ok - Remote control works fine - This is a $30 player, if you want to whine about it spend a few hundred bucks on a Sony. clicking again is not possible.
