Anyone who burns a lot of woods knows that your needs change with the seasons. It’s nice to be able to shrink this rack down with little effort during the light wood use months and then during the really cold heavy wood consumption season you can maximize its size. I have ordered 3 different racks now and this one is the most versatile/adjustable. We burn 10-12 cords a winter. Any log rack on our homestead is going to get a workout. I’d definitely order this again and I would recommend it to others as well. It’s good quality, sturdy, and versatile. Like all the other racks I have ordered I would recommend not placing it in the elements without a cover. I could see rusting being a problem over time but the same can be said for the other two racks I ordered. Your going to want to keep your firewood covered and dry anyway so mostly a nonissue.
