I'm not a powerlifter or any other athlete who takes this for muscle strength. I take many supplements to help with various chronic issues and now this is on my daily "must take" list. I definitely feel a difference overall, but I notice less "brain fog" in particular, especially when taking it in combination with NAC. Acyl-L-carnitine has been suggested to delay or slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease, particularly with NAC and cucurmine; This is another reason I take it because I have a family history of Alzheimer's and have the APOE-4 genes.
