But the tires are a HORRIBLE job on them, I had flat spots all over the edges and it was a hassle to clean them up so they didn't look like junk against the yellow hood of my 21 JL Wrangler. . The top of the hook that goes to the hood comes with metal nuts and I don't want to use them as I don't know how that would affect corrosion. Luckily the nuts that were on the JL fit the bolts. But that's the real problem. This part has a slot for the screws so you can adjust it up and down, but the screw heads are bigger than the slot so they don't fit well and it's really tedious to adjust to the right point. When the first hand was done, I realized that I had no intention of continuing with it. It just doesn't feel as secure as the original and I don't want to mess with tightening the screws properly to get it right. As much as I would like the flags there as a veteran, I'm just not going to leave this thing.
