I just rode 2000 miles with me and my son. These devices worked perfectly. I was really impressed. We were always able to stay within voice range, even in the mountains when we weren't in the right place. I don't think we covered a maximum of 1km. The sound quality was excellent even at high speeds with the open modular helmet. I called my wife over the bluetooth while I was driving at 70mph and she said it sounded like I wasn't on a motorcycle. Battery life is great. We even forgot to charge one and were able to use it for the whole second day of riding. I would say it was 10-12 hours of driving on a single charge. The radio stays connected so you can chat casually while driving. My comment on two drivers is well documented here. The block will handle 6, but it's not 6 to 6. It's 6 to 1, master. It may be suitable for a one-class training environment, but not suitable for a large group of riders. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'd want to listen to 5 other people chatting during my trip. The low profile speakers are loud and clear and easily fit in my regular helmet. It almost looks built in. My nagging is minor and won't stop me from buying again. It doesn't remember the last volume setting, so you'll have to look for the volume up button and press it multiple times to maximize the volume. Or maybe not - it starts right in the middle of the dial, and I can't hear well, so I always turn it.
