I recently bought a Nikon D700 and had to buy a CF card. I've used Sandisk SDHC cards a lot in the past, so I didn't spend a lot of time trying to figure out which brand to buy. Sandisk memory cards are very reliable. While Nikon's official suggestion is to only use 8GB and 64GB cards for the Nikon D700, after reading many online forums, including here at Revain, I have come to the conclusion that 16GB and 32GB cards work fine. If it helps, I'm using the latest firmware installed in the D700 with a recently purchased CF card. What else do you need? It just works.
