Review on πŸ’ˆ Neutral Clubman Moustache Wax with Brush Comb - 14g by Sara Gowan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Holds very well but dissolves in water

I've been using bunny face cream for over 50 years but only recently started using mustache wax. I didn't know anything about how to use it or what to try. Clubman was the first one I tried. The bottom line is that it's easy to apply, has a very nice light scent that goes away fairly quickly (I usually HATE all scents) and dries really well. And it doesn't feel waxy or sticky. The major downside is that it is water soluble, so it easily disappears when eating, drinking, or just when the humidity is high. My beard is very thick, thick and curly. Trying to style the hair or just get that mustache hair out of your mouth is VERY difficult, so for the past 50 years I've resorted to carefully trimming and neatly styling all hair along the lip line. In short, they stay out of my nose. I was never sure how to use this material but it allowed me to grow a mustache and get nice curls even with all the curls in my hair. I recently tried a beeswax product that is said to have a strong hold and now I know that Clubman did a really good job and it would be even better if I knew more about how to use it. I'd probably like it more if I was willing to tweak it a bit throughout the day. It's quite pricey since you can only get it in a small 0.5 ounce tube, but I might come back to that after trying a few other things.
