This is the second time I've bought this perch (I still have the first one) and I really like it. I have two companion birds and now they can both shower with me at the same time. Sandpaper is needed to keep the bird from slipping. However, this is a bit of a concern as there is a risk of them scratching the bottom of their feed. I solved this problem by placing a sheet of paper towel on the perch, eliminating direct contact with the bottom of her feed. In the beginning (on my first perch) I had a little trouble holding the suction cups in place. This problem was also solved by thoroughly cleaning the suction cup and the tub wall. I have never had any problems again and will continue to buy this product.
