I liked the design and style of this night light but found it too bright for what I expected from a night light. (I ended up going for another lamp called SerieCozy Dusk to Dawn in Warm White, which I just rated 5 stars; you may be interested in this lamp!) They are very pretty and I didn't want to return them, so I plugged them into their outdoor outlets, one on the patio, one by the back door. While I don't think they are intended for outdoor use, both areas are gated so need adequate shelter from rain (not that it rains much where I live). The attached photo was taken inside the house. If you like night lights a little brighter, this is a great choice!
