Review on Hunter Outdoor Ceiling Remote Bronze by Kim Adams

Arrived promptly. Cool, good. To install. As long as it went smoothly. The spot where the blades would be attached was not fastened. There are no instructions in the packaging. Went to the hunter page for instructions. I followed them. There are no instructions for installing the fan blade bracket. Apparently it should already be installed? Passed the blades to see if the wiring is correct. Everything is fine except…. The fan part did NOT rotate. And I noticed that it was bent under the top lantern. Turning on the fan started smelling like something was on fire... yes, you guessed it. The wiring started to overheat due to the Brent fan being stuck and misassembled at the factory. The sheathing of the cable in the ceiling box melted and had to be replaced. I am unable to return the product as Hunter Support only tells me that the Revain replacement has expired. So now I've lost $289 on a fan that started a small electrical fire. My recommendation when buying a fighter fan. Shop offline as returning an item is easier than processing online returns due to poor customer service.
