Hunter Outdoor Ceiling Remote Bronze Review

Great fan with easy installation. I replaced two aging fans on our outdoor patio in a few hours. The remote control works, but the dimming function is a bit confusing. However, we're very happy with the looks and performance. We would buy the product again and use this provider.

Took 4.5 hours to install! On the one hand because of an inferior screw for fastening the bracket. Judging by the picture the cord is so light and then I had to saw off the head to unscrew the vise. I installed on a porch that is an A frame so the bracket design doesn't lend itself to a "V" installation and then had to modify the canopy to fit a flat surface. Then the design flaw is in the screw holes for the lighting kit hoses just below the lamp stems - how about moving them between them…

My husband installed this fan - in fact he is still installing this fan HOURS later! At first the screws weren't seated properly and he had to keep reinstalling them. Then, when everything seemed to even out, the wires, which seemed too long and bulky for the case and should just be there, were sticking out and tangling. Then when everything appeared to be assembled and he tried to turn it on, it wouldn't turn on! So he took it all apart again and tried to figure out what he had done wrong…

Arrived promptly. Cool, good. To install. As long as it went smoothly. The spot where the blades would be attached was not fastened. There are no instructions in the packaging. Went to the hunter page for instructions. I followed them. There are no instructions for installing the fan blade bracket. Apparently it should already be installed? Passed the blades to see if the wiring is correct. Everything is fine except…. The fan part did NOT rotate. And I noticed that it was bent under the top…

Always have been a fan of Hunter brand fans and this one won't let me down. It's quiet, stable, doesn't wobble, and is absolutely beautiful. The blades come in a choice of colors, although I was surprised to see the 'printed' barn, it looked cheap. until I installed and installed. I can't tell if the tree is real or not; Real wood only warps anyway, so there are good reasons to print wood color on blades. Has worked great for almost 2 months but the remote control is apparently broken and there is no way to turn the fan or light on. Tried changing the battery in the remote control - no change. I removed the ceiling cover and checked the power supply - the power supply is on. Update: Contacted Hunter and we followed a few steps to determine the issue.
