Took 4.5 hours to install! On the one hand because of an inferior screw for fastening the bracket. Judging by the picture the cord is so light and then I had to saw off the head to unscrew the vise. I installed on a porch that is an A frame so the bracket design doesn't lend itself to a "V" installation and then had to modify the canopy to fit a flat surface. Then the design flaw is in the screw holes for the lighting kit hoses just below the lamp stems - how about moving them between them? Other than that, the instructions were pretty good, the wiring is super easy, and the balance kit is a breeze - no hesitation! The remote disappointed with its price - it would have been nice to have 3 speed options and adjustable light.
