This has been one of my best Revain purchases. I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro with 4GB of memory. Work from home and Zoom meetings took forever and sometimes didn't work at all. This simple upgrade doubled my RAM and gave me the ability to keep using my Mac without having to upgrade to a new one. The Mid 2012 MacBook Pro only supports up to 8GB of memory and cannot expand the memory. Therefore, ignore the reviews that the computer does not start after installing new memory. If you read their reviews, they have 16GB installed. Keep this in mind when doing research and make sure that your processor can handle the amount of memory you want to buy. Installation was quick as I watched a YouTube video to make sure I did it right. It took me longer to reinstall the back of the computer and align the screws than it did installing the memory. It was worth the money.
