As described. One person assembly took about 30-40 minutes. Another reviewer mentioned not initially tightening the bolts, which made a huge difference in the smooth construction and insuring flatness and balance. Tightening the screws one at a time will make the other screw holes more difficult to align. I hang a couple of light jackets and a handbag or two on it and don't feel the need to use wall mounts. The instructions are in the form of images only. So if you haven't assembled your furniture often, figuring it out can be very tedious.
