Review on SAMODRA Non-electric Bidet Attachment - Cold Water Toilet Seat Bidet with Pressure Controls and Retractable Dual Nozzles for Frontal & Rear Wash - Black by Randy Salgado

I didn't know what to expect as this is my first experience with a bidet and I have to say it's much better than expected! The installation went fine in the end, but a few things would have made it a lot easier. 1) I should have watched the video first, not just the instructions that came with it. The video I finally found states that after turning off the water supply, the water must be flushed to remove any remaining water in the hose. (The included instructions don't even say to turn off the water first, but do it!) It wasn't a big mess, but the water spilled when I unhooked the original hose. 2) The mounting plates provided do not match the toilet seat connectors so I was unable to use them and it was quite difficult to balance the bidet when reattaching the toilet seat onto it. Once it's installed securely, the bidet body doesn't move, so I think it's ok. 3) I spent most of my time connecting the tee with the rubber washer fitted to the tank valve. I've struggled with this for so long! I've tried flipping the washer multiple times, only for it to stop threading each time. At that point I gave up and watched a video for a similar model, although it didn't make that particular step clear. I finally pushed the rubber washer all the way into the T-adapter, then pushed the adapter against the tank valve with all my might, and after about a million tries I was able to start threading. I torqued it to the max with a wrench which tipped the flushing mechanism in the tank so that's a problem now but fixable. 4) The instructions mention a 3/8" washer that fits between the hose that came with it and the bidet controller, but it wasn't included or listed to begin with. It doesn't leak, so I think without it everything is fine. Conclusion: Installation instructions could be a bit smoother, but this thing is amazing! Once you get over the sudden cold surprise, it feels so nice and clean. I am very happy with them so far.
