I was hoping to use this switch as a generator selector switch in my well. I wanted to switch the input power between the grid and the generator in the event of a power failure. The switch itself seems to work fine, but there are a few issues with this block. The wire terminals are AWG 6, but you MUST fan the wire on either side of the terminal screw or they will loosen and fall out. No matter how hard you spin them. It is physically impossible to reinsert hard and heavy AWG 6 wires into a lightweight plastic housing. You can plug them in, but you can't get a wired switch inside the case. When using AWG 10 or less. works well.
