Review on Oculus Headset Accessories Compatible Straps by Rebecca Bright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It just fits (FrankenQuest/Elite/3rdParty/Halo/Custom Straps with VR Power Counterweight)!

I've been looking for a long time for a case that could fit my custom front halo, third party rear modular strap with added padding, Oculus Quest 2 with VR Power module attached and this case really fits no problems or stretch locks. Lightning! This case fits everything I've tried: original strap, elite strap, higher 3rd party elite style, halo strap, BoboVR M2 Halo, new K5 elite style, 3rd party modular detachable tops/bottoms, Vive DAS and Globular Cluster Premium Deluxe audio strap attached to headphones. I find my VR headset configuration much more complex than the FrankenQuest variant as there are things holding it that don't fit my space so I called it the Great White Beast Strap (has a halo, headphones are attached) . , height-adjustable, cross-top padded section, no-bolt connections and attached third-party Elite-style rear modular strap to be able to stretch far enough to fit my larger head size, multiple layers of padding, VR Power 2 (just updated from the original black VR Power), the original Quest 2 white top strap (used a heat gun to expand and tighten the connecting portion of the original strap and it's still not lowered. I have a perfect 50/50 balance from the front to the rear with a headset attached and it's still lighter than a motorcycle helmet but just as soft. I love that it has 2 sets of crossing attachment straps and that the top inner zip can be left open, as well as 2 inner zipped storage compartments , where you can be a bit more open top for stuff to have a pillow Speaking of pillows, this cover wi rd supplied with 3.6" thick foam, with 2 separate layers of 1.75" thick foam. My use: I simply used the outer volume foam below and then alternated my Oculus Touch controllers. (with the ProTubeVR grip straps attached) and placed them in the area of my head strap at the bottom (there aren't actually any molded EVA inserts to mount the controllers, but you can use the cross mount strap to get through the loops I then have the cables stripped from headset for attached Globular Cluster Premium Deluxe Audio Strap and VR Power 2 headphones, removed top strap and extra padding from front of headset, reinstalled Oculus Fit Pack Wide interface, face and lens caps, flip then the back of the Topcovos modular back strap loop into the angel of light position and fold the front halo and top (back) of the globular strap back, tipping the headphones forward over the top of the headset and tipping the VR Power 2 forward, and all fitted with about 1.5" of headroom. This is by far the tallest (thickest) Oculus Quest 2 VR case I've seen and it's only slightly better than the previously used Vanerdun Oculus Rift S case which has curved sides for the earbuds on the front. I simply placed pieces of foam around the areas where there was room for movement and zipped them up. The internal top zippers are large enough to fit my 8m cable for Oculus Link or my ProTubeVR Quest 2 cups for ForceTube, extra face caps, microfiber cloth, my magnet connectors and cables I use with the VR Power Module or even mine Whipped-pistol pick-up handles are located on the outside of the inside of the zip, but still behind the nylon mesh-lined zip area. For under $40 you'll be hard pressed to find a more versatile case than this or the Vanerdun Oculus Rift S. These are my top two Oculus Quest 2 cases with larger VR headset configurations, tied for a variety of reasons.
