Review on πŸ”ͺ Enhance Your Blade Sharpening Experience with the Work Sharp WSSAKO81112 Blade Grinder Attachment by Clinton Youmans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It could have been better and I would have paid more for it.

In general a good product, it has many functions, it meets my expectations. Here's what you don't like about it. However, I only used it for one day. but these things immediately repelled me. The top wheel is a bit large so the belt is offset about 1/8 inch from the vertical support. This may not be a problem for a larger grinder, however, this spacing grinds the edges harder (maybe I'll build it in to fix it.) None of the control plates (front or rear) are adjustable So if you're where -sharpening a small 0.5 inch diameter blade with the backrest. The knife falls off the others before it hits the belt. (both can be protected by a knurled plate that can be moved back and forth and tightened with a lever). Very similar problem with the front stop. The upper part between the two wheels should also have the possibility of a hand rest. Free transfer Excellent, and not having an object in the way is sometimes a good option. but sometimes. (The nozzle has two pre-drilled holes where the plate can be installed.) The way the nozzle attaches to the engine is horribly engineered. I understand the Keep it Simple idea behind the development. However. move and travel freely. I'd feel more secure with something that locks into place and I know I can grab it by the handle if I need to move the device. without the possibility of free rotation of the belt grinder. Finally, the Driver Hub latch is a bit cheap and crappy. Seems like it could be done better. This block sharpens the blades, it helps with light grinding, it polishes rough edges. I just think there are some small omissions that prevent this from being any good.
