These spoons are great because they are the perfect spoon size, length to hold and are soft to the touch/not too heavy. When my little one finally snatches the spoon out of my hand to eat, I don't worry that she will hurt herself or break something if she decides to leave it. The only downside is the fact that they rub off fairly easily, which is only an issue if you're worried about how things look. While cleaning, I noticed that some of the aforementioned mold or food leftovers got stuck on the diamond-shaped handle. In fact I hand wash the spoons and then throw them in our sterilizer at the end of each day along with all the bottle and pump parts and have had no problems. However, if you throw them in the dishwasher I can see leftover food if you have a large amount of crockery/cutlery that you have used.
