BEWARE! This filter is NOT compatible with GE refrigerators that use automatic reset and date keeping, via RFID tags attached to the filter body. Even if you peel the old tag off your GE brand filter and slap it on this one, it will remember the date and therefore not function.Additionally, the snout of this filter is smaller than the OEM filter and has thinner o-rings. It isn't terrible but I can see where it would leak. I have used alternative sized filters from this company in the past and had no trouble so it is specific to newer, "fancier" model refrigerators. I guess they figure if you can afford a fancy fridge, you can afford a needlessly fancy OEM branded filter with an RFID tag.
