The curling iron I received was not new and could be a fake. The tape was already cut on the box. The curling iron didn't have a plastic cover on the output pins or a zip tie. There was no instruction manual or anything else. All of my other hot tool curlers come with these things in taped boxes. Are these even hot instruments? It's not as heavy as my 1 1/4 inch iron and the stamp doesn't print the same way. Not to mention the iron had rust spots, scratches, chipped paint and water stains as if it had been washed and dried.
