Used as a makeshift solution to a leaking shop roof and installed late September 2013. Before purchasing, we read the part of the product description that said it can be used as a tarp or covering material for outdoor use and other difficult applications. "Honestly, it's good that we only need it for a temporary fix. After 8 months, it started to deteriorate badly. At that point (10 months later) it has broken into pieces, which then break into small ones in your hand Can be broken into pieces It doesn't seem to have any UV resistance at all, or maybe it's designed to biodegrade The main reason I'm so disappointed with this product is that I often bought the cheap blue standard tarpaulins have and they have always lasted a long time.more than 8 months.For what we paid for this cover so supposedly for 'hard uses' we could literally use layers of cheaper tarps and they would still be intact.think Remember that here in the Northwest, we don't get much sun between September and June, so this plastic hasn't endured months of high temperatures, and there weren't any tree branches on the roof or anything anything else that could physically damage it. I would definitely not buy this again. The cost-to-life ratio is too low.
