My knives are deadly and like new. I haven't sharpened my Henckel blades in almost 11 years and they are now better than new. Read the instructions carefully and practice before proceeding. You will not be disappointed. One as a gift. It's nice to be cooking with my knives again. Remove the tomato and taste the slice before sharpening. Then try cutting the blade again after sharpening to feel how the blade changes. I absolutely love this product.
