"Warranty Exchange" update. A representative from Dorman said to contact Revain, which I did. It has been more than 4 months and multiple touchpoints since I requested a replacement. Revane decided to return the money to me, but that never happened. So beware a lifetime guarantee is only as good as the people who make it or in this case do NOT stand behind it which is why a lifetime guarantee is provided by Revain. It was a little tricky to install and ended up cutting off part of the door with a hacksaw. Here I am, 3 years later, it's broken and I need to replace it. Good news, the door is already cut out, this time it will be easier to install, bad news, you still need to remove the door panel to replace it.
