Window Orientation and AUTO UP/DOWN

Bought this Dorman controller based on your feedback and just installed it. As a thank you, I am happy to pass these tips on. If the window slows down in places after installing a new regulator, it probably means the window needs leveling. Loosen all 4 screws holding the rail. Close a window. Make sure it's fully raised. Tighten screws. This straightens the splint. For anyone saying that AUTO UP/DOWN didn't work, it's not Dorman's fault. You have to bring the car to the dealer. The mechanicโ€ฆ

<3 years failed, "Lifetime Warranty " not supported by Revain or Dorman

"Warranty Exchange" update. A representative from Dorman said to contact Revain, which I did. It has been more than 4 months and multiple touchpoints since I requested a replacement. Revane decided to return the money to me, but that never happened. So beware a lifetime guarantee is only as good as the people who make it or in this case do NOT stand behind it which is why a lifetime guarantee is provided by Revain. It was a little tricky to install and ended up cutting off part of the door with

No automatic up/down. A little wobbly.

I gave 3 stars because it works and is easy to install, fits in dowel holes and bolt holes. There are two main reasons for the three star rating: 1) This product doesn't have auto up/down auto function, my car had it with the original one and after changing to that one now it doesn't work with this function. Not much, but it would be nice if it were clearly labeled and made public. But for 1/3 the OEM price it's not terrible. 2) The big problem for me is that the window seems to have some playโ€ฆ

Update August 27, 2021: Yesterday I replaced an older version of the same Dorman part that I installed on my 2005 Odyssey EXL exactly 5 years ago . I've attached a photo showing the same Dorman part from 5 years ago versus the current August 2021 Dorman part. I noticed that there were small changes in the design compared to 5 years ago, namely that the part where the base of the window screws is now made of plastic. It used to be metal. CONFIRMED: DOES NOT support Auto Up/Down on EX/EXL/EXL-T. RESET RESET/PROGRAMMING.

TLDR: Dorman 741-007 is NOT compatible with Auto Up/Down on EX/EXL/EXL-T. RESET RESET / PROGRAMMING. I don't normally leave reviews, but after a long and costly process of replacing parts and troubleshooting, I feel I should clear up the confusion surrounding this issue. I have a 2005 Odyssey EXL-T (Touring). Honda Factory Front Window Adjuster (72250-SHJ-A02) HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED BY Honda. Revain says this part (Dorman 741-007) is compatible with my EXL-T.
