Bought this Dorman controller based on your feedback and just installed it. As a thank you, I am happy to pass these tips on. If the window slows down in places after installing a new regulator, it probably means the window needs leveling. Loosen all 4 screws holding the rail. Close a window. Make sure it's fully raised. Tighten screws. This straightens the splint. For anyone saying that AUTO UP/DOWN didn't work, it's not Dorman's fault. You have to bring the car to the dealer. The mechanic will perform a procedure: Reset the power window control module. Basically, the on-board computer reports that a new window regulator has been installed. When finished, AUTO UP/DOWN will work again.
