Bought several masks for my son for Halloween which came with rips at the seams. They're flimsy plastic, with holes for elastics that add stress to already torn seams, so I wasn't optimistic it would work, but after some trial and error it did. I ended up using large UV flashlights with 9 or 11 UV LEDs because time was of the essence in our case, but as far as I know the item could be placed outdoors in direct sunlight and also with a tiny light source. Although I didn't use the sandpaper from the plastic roughing kit (it was fine enough anyway), I can see why it's included. In some places the UV adhesive has flaked off the surface of the plastic as it cured, so a sticky texture to the adhesive optimizes results. I look forward to finding more applications for this innovative adhesive. I usually stick with the Instant or Crazy type, and while they still have their uses, there's the satisfaction of near-instant cure times with thicker viscosities and the ability to build plastic in layers. toolbox.
