Review on Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Shell Headphone Bundle - Top-Quality Headphones for Premium Sound Experience by Adam Szepietowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I listened to the 880, 990, 770, and senheiser 700 before settling on these, and while those were all good headphones, I found that these were the most comfortable and easiest to use. I made my decision to purchase these headphones based on their proximity to my desk, as I needed a pair of high-quality headphones that were also noise-free. For those who already have a high-quality audio source and prefer closed headphones, I wholeheartedly endorse these models from Sennheiser. The 600 Zenheisers may be superior, but they are open and significantly more expensive, and the sound is slightly different.

Pros
  • Sound quality is superb, the attention to detail is astounding, the build quality is superb, you can hardly hear anything outside when you put them on, the bass is strong, the soundstage is wide, there is no background noise, the ear cushions are soft and replaceable, the wire is flexible, the case is included, and I personally like the straightforward design.
Cons
  • Because of the slightly elevated peaks, I had to use an equalizer to tone them down; this is a positive; the bow presses too hard; I had to straighten it out; the case can be arranged more impressively; the soundproofing fee is still not ventilated; the ears sweat somewhat; however, this is less of an issue than with earlier models of Zenheiser headphones. After two years, I discovered a flaw: the right ear had ceased functioning. However, if you pulled the wire near the headphone cup, the sound returned. I plan to solder, as I later found my native cable to be priced at $2,500. Once the fix is complete, I'll update.
