I have a workshop in the attic with a suboptimal heating system. This lightweight little heater does an excellent job of heating up the space I work in. I guess it can turn heat or keep it straight. It's not so loud that I have to turn on the stereo to hear music. The .timer is good as I can get carried away while creating and forget to turn something on or off. My 45 pounds. the dog was up there with me and bumped into him once while chasing his tail, but he didn't fall over. Depending on how far I am from the heater, I can adjust the power so that it still reaches me. The best is the remote control. I can change something without turning to the heater. Overall this is a great little heater for heating a small area.
