I needed a very gentle S-curve about 3/8" wide and about 1/8" deep to contour the edge of my kitchen cabinet door frame where they are Meeting with an inverted raised plate. This is the only bit I could find that has an S curve with such a shallow tread depth. I only use the outer 3/8" of the bit, which is quite unusual as it's one of the largest diameter bits you can buy for a router. I build. The bit has four cutting edges, two full cutting edges and two partial cutting edges. I get amazing results with red birch, which I don't find as easy to work with as cherry and poplar.
