Best Brush Cleaner. I bought this for my sister but I have a similar one that I've been using for about 30 years. Just get all the paint or buff as much of the brush as possible by rubbing or squeezing the bristles, then wet the brush completely with mineral spirits (a couple tablespoons per 2-inch brush), move the brush back and forth here. to pump mineral spirits into your heel with that spinner and then spit it all out. Do this half a dozen times and the brush will be clean. I've used my favorite brushes for dozens and dozens of jobs and their heels are still straight and clean. You can rotate the brushes from the outside (upwind), but rotating the brushes near the bottom of the 5-gallon bucket will also work. There is not much solvent (water) saving with latex, but you can still use a slingshot to rid the residue of any solids.
