Follow the installation instructions for an HP Pavilion with Win7, but the instructions were not compatible with the Airport Extreme router. On a (Late 2008) MacBook Pro with Mavericks, went into Airport Utility, selected the Base Station from the top menu bar and selected "Add WPS Printer". In the Add WPS Printer window, select First Try and click the WPS button on the Trendnet print server. Airport Extreme recognized the device and automatically added it to my wireless client's MAC address list (for security reasons, all devices on my network must be identified by MAC address and have permission to access - this was caused by a history of bandwidth theft). Then I ran the trendnet utility on HP, pointed to the printer, and all the multifunctions worked the first time. However, the utility failed to run on the MacBook Pro. The utility kept crashing. Finally I went to the trendnet website, downloaded the utility, installed it, rebooted and was able to run the utility. I identified the printer from the drop down list and all functions worked fine. Using a Brother DCP 7020 printer. Haven't connected to a MacPro desktop yet or other older HP and Dell laptops but don't see any problems.
