Great Accent Lights for Driveway

Since our driveway is a kinda goofy "up over the hill around the curve" driveway, I have been wanting some sort of runway lighting to line the concrete so it's easier to back in our big truck (no backup cam). I had been contemplating outdoor rope lighting until I came across these lights. These are JUST what I was looking for! This set of 12 individual solar powered little "pod" lights is awesome for lining my driveway. I didn't really want to drill a ton of holes in the concrete (screws ARE included), so I got some 6-inch stakes to tack them in the ground just along the edge of the concrete. Installation was quick and easy that way. Each light offers the choice of white or blue lighting, and the lights show out all 4 sides. The outer housings are cast metal over the plastic insides, so they have some good strength to them. I tested by driving my truck over them and they still work! See the pic of it lit up under the tire! I took one apart to see how weather-resistant they really are. Removing 2 screws and lifting off the metal cover shows the inner light assembly is weather sealed to the bottom plate so these should do just fine living outside. Each light measures about 4.25 inches wide and 1 inch tall.Remember to set the switch on the bottom to white or blue before mounting the lights, else you'll be removing them to turn them on.These DEFINITELY make it easier backing into our driveway. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
