These legs came in handy. We bought a new 55 inch Vizio TV that had legs on the corners of the TV. This meant the TV would no longer stand on our TV stand as the old TV it replaced had a center stand and new TV feet. were too wide to stand on our old TV stand. These feet attach to the VESA holes on the back of the TV where you would normally use a wall mount. That means the feet are much closer together than the original feet that came with the new Vizio. This allowed us to use our existing TV stand. The TV feels very solid, even with the legs attached. We have two kids under 10 and a dog and I don't think the TV will fall for that any more. This was done with the original legs. It raises the TV a few inches higher than the original legs, but in our case I liked it. It might make a difference to others if you already have a tall TV stand. I was very happy to be able to fix our problem for $20 instead of buying a whole new TV stand. It took 10 minutes to connect to the TV. I would highly recommend this product to others in the same situation.
