It was great! I bought it to add RAM to my laptop. I had no idea what I was doing so I researched and watched YouTube to find out. I have a Compaq Presario CQ-57-339wvm laptop and it ran very slowly and I found adding RAM would make it faster. Once I figured out how to do that, I looked it up and tried to decipher what kind of RAM would work for my computer. NOTE: When purchasing RAM, consider WHAT MAXIMUM RAM your computer can hold. Otherwise it doesn't work! So when I got it, I had to take a small screwdriver and pry open the back of the computer. I then had to find the RAM that was already in the computer, unplug it and put that RAM in first and then add the original RAM back in. It works like a flashlight battery by stacking them inside each other. So to add a new one, you must first remove the old one. As soon as I plugged them both back in, I turned on the laptop and saw that it wasn't working. To find out, I went into settings and properties. I knew what an Aries was before I added it, so I expected to see a higher number but didn't. So I took it apart again and had to move the new piston around a bit to get it in place (I think it wasn't in the perfect spot the first time). After that it worked!
