Well constructed of 1/16 inch thick sheet metal, it should be reliable for occasional use (obviously not as handy and powerful as $200 units). I chose this version of the product (several vendors sell riveters from the same manufacturer) because it had more parts in the package, but I didn't realize it didn't come with the case that other similarly priced products have. even needed.
