You may be trying to match the colors of the industry's leading "signature brand" DMC, but it's definitely not a 6 strand DMC thread if that's what you're looking for like I am. This can be used in general crafts or in making bracelets, but this is not the case for high quality cross-stitching and embroidery where the brand of thread is meaningful to the person. They use the same numbering system to match DMC colors and numbers. As you can see from the picture this is "Made in China", DMC floss is NOT made there.
