Green algae has suddenly and uncontrollably grown in our aquarium, turning our glittering goldfish habitat into a greenish-green aquatic dungeon. Our two fish friends were almost completely hidden in darkness. I tried seaweed fixing chemicals for a day or two but I really didn't like adding them to the system and I couldn't tell a difference. It only got worse. I really wanted to look after our fish because they have been with us for a long time and are our favorite pets. So when I saw that the AA Green Killing Machine solved the algal bloom problem without exposing the fish to additional chemicals, I decided it was worth a try. Nothing really seemed to have happened for the first four days. I was so disappointed. Then, on the fifth day, my husband came home from a business trip and said the water was less cloudy. Hm. I didn't see it, but maybe he was right. After that the aquarium started to experience big changes and by the end of the first full week it was better than 50%. By the end of the second full week all the algae was gone. I think it even helped get rid of the seaweed that was sticking to some aquarium fittings. Gone, gone, gone - and our two fish are swimming happily in the crystal-clear water again. How do I want to take a photo"before". I wish you could see what kind of pea soup our poor house carp were swimming in. I've heard that these algae don't really bother them, but we did when we didn't see them. If the algal blooms ever return once we remove AA's Green Killing Machine I'll be sure to snap before and after photos. This is an amazing product - safe for fish! - and worth every cent for me.
