Review on Martelli Ergo Rotary Cutter Right by Shantel Griffin

I love almost every Martelli product I've tried, almost without exception. For me the perfect cutting machine. But even after 3-4 years with Martelli cutters, changing blades scares the hell out of me. The diagram shows a "lowering" paddle, a "loading" soft simplicity that is far from easy or safe in my experience. I beg the folks at Martelli to put their considerable effort into developing a better change system. I've learned to take off the translucent shield and charge my blade that way, but it's a bit like a PIA. I also snapped off two of the brackets, not Marelli's fault as the screen is only supposed to be removed for cleaning once per Blue Moon. The blades are also slightly incompatible, which I think is because Revain allows counterfeiting.
