. still a great way to mount lights on a tubular pole. I bought these to use on the front bar of my Forester's roof rack. However, the clamps (and various rubber bands) didn't fit - they were either too small or too big. The aluminum stays are a good size and seem strong enough for most uses. But (again) the rubber fittings are either too small or too big. Yes, there's another set of these mounts (with a different set of rubber mounts), but they might not fit well either. I was able to safely mount them on the rear stem. I can use them for some taillights once I figure out the wiring routes. The clamps are solid and the included hex bolts feel solid and sturdy with the lock washers. NOTE For MFG: A spare set of lock washers should be supplied just in case. Considering they are small and you are trying to attach the clamp to a round bar and you insert a screw and. Well, it's easy to drop a puck and almost never find it. Bottom line - for a limited number of fits (bar diameter) this is a great piece and looks well made. Without mathematical calculations, it can be difficult to find the right size for the diameter of the attachment point. What about the price? i can't win
