This is a VA LCD panel. The colors change dramatically as the head moves from side to side.

The claimed viewing angle of 178 degrees is cheeky. I was under this panel which should be IPS as it is a 2019 model and I had a 2017 LG32-UD99. It's definitely a VA panel. I bought 2 of these at the same time, so it's not just a defective unit. Nowhere in the description does it say it's a VA panel. I'm embarrassed I didn't look for the specs on another site, but I expect LG to put that information in the description. These things will need to be returned, which will be excruciating given the current climate and the size of these boxes.
