Review on 💻 Thunderbolt Dock Plus Cable F4U109TT by Belkin - 4K Compatible by Robert Halpern

I have loved this dock since my son ordered it for me. I've always had good luck with Belkin products - until now. This dock has serious video issues that Belkin Support confirmed over the phone, but unfortunately they can't fix it and I've waited too long to get it back. Connected to a Late 2020 iMac, the dock only drives one monitor and that monitor is having issues. When you connect two monitors (via both DisplayPort connectors on the docking station), the monitors connected to the docking station are mirrored and have a lower resolution. When I connect only one monitor to the dock, the display often doesn't wake up. , the monitor turns off intermittently and displays the error "NO SIGNAL" and sometimes the monitor does not work after restarting. I've confirmed the issue with different external monitors, different cables, and every conceivable version of DisplayPort that my monitors support. When I connect two monitors with two separate USB-C dongles (effectively removing Belkin from the configuration) everything is fine. On a positive note, tech support was responsive, but (in my opinion) they were a bit disappointed with this product. And now I do too. It might work for some configurations, but it's worth paying a little more and getting a better product - maybe from someone other than Belkin.
