Review on Men's High Top Fashion Shoes: Adidas Tubular Footwear by Ben Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Brilliant visual design with serious flaws in practice

Pros: These shoes are very light and comfortable. I can easily walk for a few hours. I also think they look great. The toe is comfortable. shabby. Significant wear and tear on the heels and soles after 3 hours of use. I doubt they will last long. I can't put these shoes on without a shoehorn. I have to unlace the laces, tug on the laces to release each loop, pull the boot halfway out, and then use the shoehorn to tuck each foot into my boot. It takes quite a long time - minutes. I think it's funny. These shoes are not waterproof, in fact after an hour of walking in very light rain my toes were soaked to the skin. The very bad news is that these shoes don't dry well. The sock covers most of the opening so the movement of air and vapor is limited. So much so that the insole still feels damp after 12 hours. That's terrible because it must mean the sweat isn't drying up quickly either. Dry shoes are required. Is it worth buying? I did - I like them but I doubt I'll buy another pair and I probably won't consider Adidas in the future.

Pros
  • Now I have a third pair and I love them! Different colors and first-class jersey - that's great!
Cons
  • Bulky Design: Despite being a lightweight trainer, the Tubular Doom Primeknit's bulky design may not appeal to those looking for a more streamlined and slimmer trainer option.
